Ok so we have got Sure Cuts A Lot loaded and we are ready to go. We saved some cute SVG file we are dying to cut. We double click on the file to open it and *GASP* nothing happens! Or worse Windows freaks out and tells you the file cant be open… DONT PANIC! Step away from the uninstall button!
Windows will not open SVG files unless you have a program like Inkscape. I know I know I hear you saying BUT BUT BUT YOU SAID TO SAVE SVG FILES!! Yup and here is how to open them. Ready? Hang on cuz this is going to be hard ( JUST KIDDING!)

Step 1: Open Sure Cuts A Lot
Step 2: Look to the top of the program for a button that looks like this
Step 3: Then you will see a window pop up that looks like this.
Once this window comes up you need to find the folder you saved your SVG file to. I keep a folder named SVGfiles on my desktop so its easy to find but you may keep it where ever is easy for you.
Step 4: Click on the SVG file you want to cut. You will see a preview pop up in the window on the right.
Step 5: Click open and you will see the file appear on your mat.
Off to play you go!!
