Ok So this Friendship Friday’s quiestion is…
What Has Inspired You Most This Week?

This is a hard one sort of because there are lots of things that inspire me but this has not been my most inspiring week lol So here goes what has inpsired me this week.

My friends! (you would have to follow me and the crazy people on twitter to figure out meaning behind the moneky lol but seriously there is a point for him hahaha)

My friends inspire me a lot. Youtube friends, Ustream friends, Stickam friends, Blog friends.. soo many friends creating so many wonderful things. Its hard NOT to be inspired when you are surrounded by so many creative people. Google Reader! is big for me! LOL I have 1000′s of feeds that bring me minute by minute ideas and need to try’s! And then there is my new addiction Pintrest.. enough said on that one hahaha.

Goodies inpsire me!! Spending the last couple of weeks weeding through my stash has brought out a whole new “”OOOO gotta use that its so purty” inspiration in me lol.

Which has led to lots of this

Learning to embrace the “messy” has inspired me to try new things and use some products I have had forever but not used (I struggle with messy lol)

And UIU!
UIU has been a HUGE source of inspiration for me to get out stuff I haven’t seen or used for years. To try new things to for once instead of saying “oh that looks good I will have to try it later” to actually sit down and do it now! To feel free to make things “just because” with out purpose other than to just see if I can do it or try something I wouldn’t normally do.

So to answer the question “What Has Inspired You Most This Week?”

All I can say is
YOU HAVE!!

Inspiration is all around us. In the all the normal places but especially in all the odd , wouldn’t have thought to look there places.

So go on! Get out there! Join in and BE INSPIRED!!

Embossed Flowers on Kraft Card

Working on my UIU projects and one of the things I really want to do this year is to not only UIU but to also USE IT. I have tons of things in this room that I just had to have and then once home I never seem to use them. Embossing powder is one of them. Have it. Like the way it looks. Never use it. Why? So last night as I was watching the State of The Union Address and chatting on Stickam with “the girls” I came up with this card. Super simple. Fast. Great quick thank you card or birthday card or just HOWDEE DOO card.

Another thing I have TONS of but never seem to manage to use is buttons. Every color and shape in the rainbow of buttons. So The goal was simple.. use what I have and havent used for ever! And I feel like I did that lol.

Bag O buttons! Who didnt run out and buy all these darn things. Whole bag of buttons in gotta have colors for cheap. Yup bought them all. YEARS A GO!

I was going to put some of the white string in the holes of the buttons but it ended up being “to much” so I left them as is.

I think it turned out pretty. Will be (in keeping with my let it go UIU goal) sending this out to someone soon =0)

:Supplies Used:

Zing White Embossing Powder ( not a fan of this brand but Using It Up!)
Bag O Button buttons. No clue the collections they came from since they are all dumped in a container now.
Some white string.
The Paper Studio flower punch. No clue the name of this one. Why dont they put names on them? Cut out the popped up layer on the middle flower.
And Versamark to hold the embossing powder to the paper! (remembered after to use the powder puff thing *sigh* so have little specks but eh just adds charater right?)

In other words I spend a lot of time on or with the computer making pretty things that include but are not limited to using also paper, printing, photos, cameras, inks, glues, colors, sparkles, sprays, powders, sticky stuff, hot stuff, grungy, sharp objects, tools, tools and did I mention tools oh and paper... pretty sure I mentioned it but have to put that again for sure.. paper lol etc. etc. etc..
